How can a technician in the field connect with the expert remotely?

The technician in the field must wear smart glasses and must have any wi-fi connection available that can come from a router in the company or from the hotspot of a mobile phone. Once connected to the internet, the glasses will be seen by the expert operator as available, the latter will be able to make an audio/video call to the glasses via the TeamXR platform.

How many glasses can a single remote expert control?

A single remote expert can control infinite glasses, but always one at a time.

Is there a way to share documentation with the user in the field?

TeamXR offers the ability to share PDFs, Images, Videos and 3D files with the user wearing the smart glasses by saving the files directly to the platform's cloud.

Which smart glasses are compatible?

Currently the only compatible eyewear model is Epson's Moverio BT-300, we are working to make our solution compatible with other smart glasses too.

How much traffic is consumed during a service?

It depends on the connection quality set, the functions used and the available bandwidth. The typical high quality video call is around 500kbps in upload and 500kbps in download. Screen-sharing adds another 100kbps in upload to the bandwidth used.

What if the customer has a low bandwidth?

TeamXR has an automatic QualityOfService mechanism that adapts the quality of the audio/video signal to the available band, always guaranteeing an intelligible connection.

What devices and operating systems are supported?

The expert user accesses the platform via a browser, on any operating system: PC, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS.

Do you need training to be able to use the Team XR solution?

TeamXR has been designed from the ground up to be easy to use, typically within a few minutes you are able to be autonomous in giving assistance.

Data are encrypted, what is the level of security and the data protection?

All data exchanged between smart glasses and expert operator are End-To-End encrypted with AES256 algorithm in order to prevent “man in the middle” attacks. No data is accessible from the outside (not even from Holomask) except from the interface of the expert operator himself.

Is it possible to integrate the TEAM XR solution with other systems such as CRM, etc?

TeamXR has a modular and plugin technology that allows it to interface with external software. Contact us for a quote for the development of the connector towards your software.

How do you update the platform?

TeamXR is a completely cloud platform so all bugfixes and updates are released automatically and users will have the updated software the next time they start.

Do I need to arrange something with my IT department to install TeamXR?

TeamXR does not require any installation, just log in with your browser. You don't even need to open any ports in corporate firewalls, our technology makes the user experience truly smart.
